Do you work in the cold using vibrating tools such as power hammers, jack hammers, chainsaws, riveters, grinders, or sanders?

Using vibrating tools can cause Hand Arm Vibration syndrome (HAVS) which is also known as Vibration White Finger or VWF.

Your employers have a duty to maintain the tools properly to keep vibration to a minimum and make sure that you take regular breaks to reduce the risk of HAVS developing. They should train you to use the tools correctly and make sure you have the right tools for the job.
Do you have coldness or tingling in the fingers? Do they turn white, red or blue? Do your arms and hands ache and feel week? Do you have trouble holding things? These are the symptoms of HAVS and, if you have used vibrating tools at work for any length of time, these symptoms may indicate you have developed the disease. You should see your doctor and discuss your symptoms and your work.

You may have a claim for compensation for HAVS (or VWF) and the disability it causes.
We have successfully recovered compensation for clients injured by exposure to vibrating tools and our lawyers can help you get the compensation you need to get on with your life.

Everyone I have had contact with has been most helpful at returning my calls and explaining anything I did not understand. I would certainly recommend Marsons Solicitors to everyone I know and I would certainly use Marsons again if the need for a solicitor was required.
